Stat PotatoPrivacy Policy
This policy explains what statpotato (“we”) collects when you use the Stat Potato website, and why.
What we collect
- Discord account: your Discord user ID and username (and display name), which Discord shares with us when you log in with Discord. We don't receive your email address, messages or server list, and we never see your Discord password.
- Teams you follow: if you press Follow while signed in, the team's name and number, so your home page can show their matches. Remove them any time from your account page; they are deleted with your account.
- Sign-in sessions: a random session identifier, stored only as a one-way hash, with the time it was created and when it expires.
- Technical logs: timestamps, errors and basic request information from our server, including IP addresses in web server logs.
Cookies
We use two strictly necessary cookies: a sign-in session cookie (up to 30 days, removed when you log out) and a short-lived cookie that protects the Discord login step (10 minutes). We don't use analytics or advertising cookies.
The Live page embeds Twitch's video player (Riot's official channel). Twitch loads it from its own servers and may set its own cookies under Twitch's privacy notice. Other pages load nothing from Twitch.
Why we use it
- To sign you in (performance of our contract with you).
- To keep the Service secure and reliable, and to fix problems (our legitimate interests).
We don't sell your data, don't use it for advertising, and don't build profiles about you.
If you tip us on Ko-fi, that happens on Ko-fi, a separate site with its own privacy policy.
Who we share it with
- Discord: when you choose to log in, Discord confirms your identity to us.
- Our hosting and network providers, including Cloudflare, which delivers this website.
- Authorities: only if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Sign-in sessions: until you log out, or 30 days.
- Web server logs: about 30 days.
- Account data: until you ask us to delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, or object to how we use it. Email us and mention your Discord username. If you're in the EU or UK you can also complain to your data protection authority.
Children
The Service isn't directed at children under Discord's minimum age, and match analysis is 18+.
International transfers
Our providers may process data in other countries, under safeguards such as standard contractual clauses where required.
